Some interventions succeed by disappearing. This reconstruction of an early-20th-century Belgrade salon apartment, originally designed by architect Momčilo Belobrk, sought not to create but to recover: to undo decades of alteration and return the space closer to its original idea. Steel-framed glass doors and herringbone parquet were reinstated; the ceiling medallion and early Modernist proportions were preserved. Wood, warm textiles and furnishings let the apartment feel authentic to its history and at ease in the present.
