The renovation of Santa Bárbara Country Club builds on what already exists, preserving the natural character of its landscape while introducing new ways of inhabiting it. The swimming pool is reshaped through a sequence of rocks, planting, timber platforms and a gentle sandy shore, creating a landscape that gradually moves between the natural and the constructed.

A new wooden walkway connects the different areas of the pool while defining a more intimate zone for children. At its southern edge, a small wooden pavilion provides a place for gathering and informal summer life.

The project also introduces a new space for the younger generations of the club. Partly embedded into the landscape and covered by vegetation, a flexible interior opens onto a sunken courtyard that can host parties, exhibitions and other events without disturbing the everyday life of the club. Together, these interventions seek to give new life to a place while preserving the character that has made it part of the club for generations.
