We design this stand for Interplasp, the manufacturer of polyurethane foams, for their first participation in Interzum 2011 (Cologne, Germany). The polyurethane foam has very attractive morphological features which generate interesting spacial sensations. With this clear idea we considered the foam not only as the object to expose, but as the element from which we generated the space. Foam lightness and easy handling allowed us to create a uniqe space with overlapping layers of different thicknesses and colors. That way visitor is invited to observe and discover the foam from its essence.

For this project, we transformed an unused industrial building, located in a block of the expansion area of the city, into a house for a young couple. The volume receive large quantity of light coming from the roof, but being in the inside patio of the block, it had no windows facing the exterior street. Connecting to the street, we design a first area, used as the working space. From there, a series of patios create a filter between the working and the living area. In the inner part, a large day space opens next to a new patio which creates the sensation of an exterior space. A light structure mezzanine is designed to hold the main bedroom.

Continuando con la estrategia de marketing ideada para Medi a través de catálogos, paneles y diferentes formatos, diseñamos el stand para SIMA, el salón inmobiliario de Madrid 08. Los objetivos a conseguir, a través del diseño del stand, encuentran diferentes etapas: - desde fuera del stand: el visitante identifica el espacio percibido con la firma Medi y se siente atraído para entrar en él. Una limpia volumetría a base de cajas de luz suspendidas invitan a penetrar en el perímetro de su proyección. - una vez dentro: el visitante encuentra un espacio agradable y sereno en contraste con el bullicio exterior y siente curiosidad para explorar los diferentes proyectos arquitectónicos que allí se exponen. Unas cajas negras y alargadas, apoyadas sobre el suelo, funcionan como expositores de cada proyecto. Related posts:

El Badall nursery school is located on the ground floor of an open block of the city expansion area, in the outskirts of Valencia. The project covers a 300 m2 rectangular plan, open to a busy street on one side and to a large patio of 300 m2 on the other side. The main goal of the project is to ensure that the daylight and natural ventilation reach all the area occupied by children, to perceive the presence of the large garden patio from every classroom, and to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere for the small ones. We use 2,40 m high modular furniture to articulate the classrooms along the central aisle, everything above it is glazed in order to create a natural homogenous lightning throughout the whole centre. All the toilets are always placed between classrooms, connected by sliding doors and a big glass surface that allows the teacher to control the class when accompanying the kids to the bathroom.

The house in which we intervene is in Puebla de Farnals, this is a detached three-floor heights of narrow and long, 3×12m.
Due to the lack of natural light, due to its complicated distribution, it chooses the full opening of the plants, letting the necessary functional elements, are the ones who articulate the spaces.
Such elements as the new staircase longitudinal metal frame and oak stairs or the glass box that defines the master bathroom, not only shape the distribution but also create a play of light and shadows interact with the new spaces created.

In the Barrio del Carmen in Valencia, we conducted a comprehensive reform of this building modernist tendencies. We deal with this project to create a large day area where space and light flow, and a sleeping area to a back garden where the bedrooms are located.
